What you love most about working at Agewell?
I love seeing and hearing the stories of change that the work we do at Agewell can create while working with Older People. It is those stories that motivate me and our team every day to try harder and point out inequalities affecting older people.
What do you like to do in your spare time ?
When I’m not at work we love to pack up our campervan and head off on an adventure to a new place with my husband, two boys and our cockapoo Reggie ! We love to go for a big hike, or some paddleboarding, then back to light the bbq and sit out under the stars.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I am most likely known at Agewell for my bouts of stress cleaning in the office and reminding everyone “you have to laugh”!!!

What you love most about working at Agewell?
We have such an amazing, dedicated team of staff and volunteers at Agewell, that I often sit back and reflect on just how much as an organisation we achieve each and every day. Agewell is by far the most innovative and passionate organisation I have ever worked for and I love being part of a team that changes the lives of Older People for the better.
What do you like to do in your spare time ?
As well as my day job I am a busy Mum of two boys which keeps me on my toes. However In my down time and to unwind, I am a keen horse rider and own a horse called Paddy, who I can often be found plodding the roads around Slemish Mountain with. As well as horse riding, I absolutely adore cooking for my friends and family and trying out new recipes.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I am most likely known at Agewell for my random project ideas and my extremely watery weak cups of tea!!

What you love most about working at Agewell?
I love everything about my job, I get to meet and speak to so many wonderful people. Who else gets to say that their job involves going out to groups and having a cup of tea and a chat. I also love our small but mighty team, we are like a family and the craic in the office is always mighty.
What do you like to do in your spare time ?
I like to get outside when I can, I would have been very active playing sports. Nothing beats a good bit of fresh air after a long busy day.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I have been told that I am a bit of a spoon thief. If there are no spoons in the kitchen drawer, they are more than likely on my desk.

What you love most about working at Agewell?
No day is the same, it is very rewarding to feel like you have helped someone even in a small way and it’s a great team to be part of.
What do you like to do in your spare time ?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my 6 year old, going to parks, meeting friends and reading together.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I hate paying delivery charges on things, I’ll keep looking until I get the very best price.

What you love most about working at Agewell?
I love being part of our wonderful team, I know it’s a cliche but, we really are a family at Agewell. I love knowing at the end of every work day that, as a result of what we do, people are better off due to their interaction with our team.
What do you like to do in your sparetime ?
My wife and I love to travel. If we aren’t away somewhere you can rest assured there’s something booked. When we aren’t off seeing the world, we love catching up on the latest episode of whatever we’re binge-watching, with our boisterous Jack Russell, Holly, on my lap.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I am known for my excellent crisis management/problem solving skills, so much so the team bought me a desk plaque that say “Fixer of Everything”. But what I’m really know for is winding everyone up, whether they like it or not.

What you love most about working at Agewell?
I love seeing the difference that it makes to the older people’s lives we visit when we connect them into support and the community . And I love hearing all their stories . It is amazing to hear about the lives they have lead
What do you do in your spare time?
I love reading – audio, kindle , paper books and also going out for walks in the countryside. But my real passion is entering competitions online

I think that I’m probably best known for entering competitions and having random facts !

Hello my name is Joanna Dallas and I am an IMPACTAgewell project officer linked with the GP surgeries in Larne.
What you love most about working at Agewell?
One of the things that I enjoy most about my job role is the variety, no day is the same, one day I could be out delivering food hampers the next I could be assisting at a funeral fair. However, my absolute passion is supporting our service users through completing home visits and having a positive outcome on an their health and wellbeing. There is no better job satisfaction than knowing you have made a difference and helped a service user who was feeling lonely and isolated grow in confidence and start to become an active member of their community, whether it’s a walking group, Art Class or a coffee at one of the local chatty cafes.
What do you like to do in your spare time ?
In my spare time I enjoy walking my two dogs and spending time with my family and I like nothing better than a quiet night in with a good film.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I would say I am best known in the office for my love of strong coffee or complaining that I am cold.

What you love most about working at Agewell?
I love having the time to get to know my clients, hearing their stories and life experiences. Being able to provide a tailored support to each individual so they can really get the most out of the service and improve their quality of life. I learn so much from each client I work with and love being able to give back by linking them to services and support and find my role truly rewarding. Not to forget the fantastic Agewell gang, we have a great team and all support each other.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love my food! Me and my husband love to try new eateries out at the weekends! I come from a big family, so I enjoying spending a lot of my spare time visiting family and friends. I also run a small part-time business which allows me to meet and help people. I like a good yarn!
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I’m probably know best for my love for food and can recommend a good take away! Also can make a ‘good’ strong coffee.

What you love most about working at Agewell?
I really enjoy my role at Agewell however seeing the positive difference from one home visit to the next for some individuals, from the help and support I have provided is probably one of the highlights. I love hearing the feedback from my service users and their families at how beneficial the service is for them. It is the most rewarding job and I go home everyday with job satisfaction. I also work alongside the best team.
What do you like to do in your sparetime ?
I spend as much time as possible with my family, friends and my animals. I own a small animal sanctuary which really does take up the majority of my time but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I’m probably best known as the ‘animal lover’ in the office. There will never be a weekend where I don’t have some kind of new addition on the farm.

What you love most about working at Agewell?
I really enjoy meeting my service users and spending time getting to know them. It is lovely to be able to chat with someone and from those conversations being able to help them get linked into the right support. There is such job satisfaction when you can see that the input has made a difference to the service user.
What do you like to do in your spare time ?
I enjoy spending time outside. There is nothing better than going for a walk with the dog or with family and friends and finishing off with a coffee and a sweet treat. I love flower arranging and going on a forage to get my bits and pieces.
What you are best known for in the office at Agewell?
I genuinely have no idea - probably getting into a fluster over something or doing something the most awkward way!
